Winter wonderland
04Feb2012
Well it's official, the Canon 1000D, the cheapest Canon DSLR, can withstand -30°C for several hours without any problems.
Yesterday evening/night I was out shooting some night/winter landscapes and the first thing I did was throw out my 1000D on one of the first spots I found. A few hours later I came back to fetch it and the camera was still clicking away.
I love being out during the winter but I haven't yet come up with an idea how to keep my poor feet warm. Though I did find these awesome heat packs, that will heat up after opening the bag they came in, great for your hands, but I don't feel like stuffing chemically warming things in my shoes.
Anyway enjoy!
